Thanks RCB. Shame mum's not here to see her. Funny, when I was having my eldest daughter I said I wanted to call her Katie after her and mum said no way. I gave her Katie as a middle name. But when my nephew and his girlfriend broke the news to her that they were expecting and said they wanted to call it Katie if it was a girl, my mum was delighted!!! I can't wait to see her, she's only 5lb 4oz, sooooo tiny!! It's gonna make me so broody
just as well I've had my tubes tied!

That is tiny - having said that though my ds was just 3lb cos he was 3 months premature - he was ridiculously weeny!

we didn't really cope that well at first to be honest cos he was in special care for 3 months (it really was touch and go) so for the first month we weren't even allowed to touch him.
Thankfully he's great now (5yrs old), apart from asthma from where his lung collapsed. The Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word!0 -
Awwww, the wee thing!!! 3 months and one of them without touching him, jeeze!! I can't imagine how scary that would be. My youngest had pneumonia when he was born cos he was a caesarian and was in special care for a week but I could still touch him and breast-feed and all that, so nothing like yours.0

Awww bella - I know things were so awful for you. Glad you finally got re-housed after all the crap you went through - you really don't need the battle though when you go through so much. The Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word!0 -
Bella , ive read that before and i cry every time when i read it, my babies would have been 2 next week, they didnt survive the birth as they were too little, if they hadnt left me, lots of hugs and stuff (((((((((((from me to u))))))) xxxxx
I know about all the stuff you went through too toni - God willing I never have to go through myself & I feel for you both so much.
It was so hard just the thought of losing Thomas - I went through very bad post-natal depression for a good three years after he came out of hospital.
Hugs and lovely wishes for you both. xxxxThe Rock Chick, she say 'courtesy costs nowt' - spread the word!0 -
