Have you guys any idea what your win ratio is? That is how many comps you enter to win one prize?
Would love to know if some folk are "just lucky" or if its a one in 1000 chance or something

atm its 1 win in 2000 comps, lol and there only fiver ones,:rolleyes: did have mountain bike and lcd tv at beginning of year though:D

Hi everyone,

Here we have by popular demand, a Top 10 List of complaints compiled
by you, put together by us, just for you!

So what exactly is it that irritates you? Starting with, in no
particular order:

10. No-shows - it appears you can type to respond and make
arrangements, so why can you not send an email if you've changed your
mind or can't make it?

9. Wanteds - you want a what???? Are you crazy??? I can't even afford
one myself, never mind give one away!!!

8. Manners - would it really hurt to add a please or a thank you, it
doesn't cost anything. I'll take it....what's that?

7. Chat speak - i wud reply if i nu wot u ment to say to me so plz,
im not 4teen i dont get it.

6. CAPITALS - PLEASE DON'T SHOUT AT ME! It's extremely annoying and
I'm not visually impaired.

5. Re-selling - if I knew you were going to sell it, I'd have given
it to someone who really wanted it and would have used it.

4. First email takes it - what do I have to do to get something?? Sit
by my computer all day refreshing my inbox? I do have to go to work,
it's so unfair that I get home from work and see an offered item that
I really would have liked, followed right behind it with a Taken.
I offer plenty, but never get the chance to get anything in return.

3. Description - had I known it didn't work properly, I wouldn't have
picked it up. I can't fix things, someone else could have taken it
and fixed it. Yuuck, what's that smell, is it cigarette smoke.....oh
no, I'm allergic.

2. Sob stories - Oh no...this one has 6 kids and 2 dogs, is
unemployed and is broke, the next response has had her house burgled,
her cat died, her car was just stolen and I'm sure she could really
use the basket of smellies. Do I have to give it to the neediest
person? Are those the rules? How am I to decide when all I get is hard
luck stories?

And.....drum roll please, the overwhelming winner, hands down the most
complaints.. .......

1. Taken - how hard is it to post a taken? I would send another email
and ask about it but I don't want to appear to be harassing you. I
saw another one posted but I didn't respond as I didn't want to end
up with two if all of a sudden you emailed me about it. Doesn't it
annoy you to keep getting emails about it when it's already gone?

Please,please, please,
post a taken, just put me out of my misery.

So that's it folks, all the things that annoy you and your fellow
members... Remember that good manners cost nothing!!

So remember, be nice,treat other members as you would like to be
treated yourself, and above all, have fun.

lol @ hiccups Bella... do you want me to post another one which will scare her this time I've plenty of me looking VERY ropey of a morning!!!!

GWEENNNNNNN - hows you diddling? I took both pairs of my new Faith shoes to Pontins hoping to get my first wears out of them.... but I felt I would have been extremely overdressed and stick with my sandals ... as point blank refuse to even look at a pair of crocs!!!!!!:D

Michelle - heres a run down of my comping week......

Mondays - Monday morning chub club held in my kitchen.... 10 bickering women.... one laptop.... fighting for dabs on Lucozade comp They filter out by the afternoon.... left shattered from too much gossip..... can't comp until the savage is tucked up in bed for the night. OH tries it on..... i give in.... two minutes later he is asleep and I am secretly loading up MSE Comps page to get 50 or so done just so I feel I have "achieved" a bit more towards completing all 200 odd pages listed!

Tuesdays - Savage at school.... yippeee.... OH either working or worked lates so sleeping..... So I crack on and do between 100 - 200 comps

Wednesdays - Same as Tuesdays

Thursdays - Wake up with the intention of getting a shed load of comps done... midday rolls by and still not even looked at the comps pages..... evening comes... sit down to comp but end up reading/replying/or on ebay.... OH falls to sleep and I creep on to get 50 odd comps done

Fridays - Guilt comes over me for not doing as many comps as I had intended to do.... so I have a mad day and get about 300 done..... curtains still shut

Saturdays & Sundays - No chance of getting anywhere near the laptop! Savage wants to go to the beach.. OH wants feeding or keeping amused... House is a dump... i'm festering in the corner from yesterdays comp fest..... evening comes... school uniform needs ironing.... I've sent OH to Ellas as ran out of milk.... need coffee to keep me up all night comping

And then it starts all over again!!!!!

how hectic polo
i get up get the kids sorted bung washing on,get kids to wash up/hoover/dust and walk the dogs,
all that time the pc is loading up and as i have auto log in it comes straight to the comps page,
i do the ending thread while getting tea ready to go in oven
then im sat here comping from 8ish till 7pm ish,
and in that time i can also make a loaf im so up to date with the comps its mad lol
