Had some missed calls on my mobile yesterday, (always presume there from comps !) traced them back to Echo newspaper, but couldnt get old of them by the time i came in, did anyone else receive a call ?

I got a call on Tuesday saying I'd won Eric Clapton tickets at Hard Rock Calling, which is on now. However the tickets never arrived and there was no one in at MTV to ring. :mad:

The terms and conditions say they'll offer no alternative though.

I've called up my local sorting office and they have nothing.

Anything I can do?

Try ringing the venue they may have your details/MTV name registered against some tickets?

Hi all. Every now and again I enter competitions. I look at the 'Competitions Ending:' thread and do those in one go. Anyway, it's been a few weeks since I last did any, so the other day I entered some. I've just looked in my email (not my regular one I might add) to see I've got umpteen spam emails. Now I've always been lucky in that I've never had any spam. This email addy is used only for competitions so, could it be that one of the companies has been selling on email details, or that someone has hijacked a web page to harvest info from it when entering? I really doubt it's my comp as I'm clued up with internet security.

Mods please feel free to move this if it's in the wrong place.

Hi all,
does anybody know which comp I enetred this morning on the list for them ending 30/6 that has so far given me three lots of £1,000,000 from Nigeria and £500,000 and a Puegeot 407 (Why would I want this car if I had £500,000??) from Peugeot.
I am normally quite careful and can now see me getting hunreds of emails from Nigeria for the next few weeks!!!
