Hi judy. Not sure what you have to put in the texts, but for online entries (which are free) you have to put your name, telephone number and email address.

The This Morning terms state:

· SMS text to 83336– send text with A, B or C to indicate your answer; up to five entries per household. Each text costs £1.00 plus one standard network rate message.

The ITV general competition terms state:

SMS entry: SMS entrants are required to send a text to the shortcode as indicated in the competition information. The charge per text message will be the price indicated in the competition information plus standard network charges. The total cost will therefore be dependent on the entrant’s network. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any SMS entry charges.

SMS entrants will receive a SMS confirmation text message of their entry, which may include information about the programme, its sponsor or other services relating to the competition. SMS entrants may opt out of receiving any marketing messages in the confirmation message (please see clause 3.3 of these terms and conditions).

Entrants must have the permission of the bill payer before calling. Entrants may be able to enter the competition from outside the UK (although entry is restricted to UK residents). There is no warranty that the service is available or appropriate for use in locations outside the UK. Charges for entering the competition will depend on the relevant service provider’s international text message rates. Charges will be deducted from the entrant’s available credit time if they are a pre-pay customer or appear on their monthly statement if they are a pay-monthly customer.

From the above it sounds like just the answer is enough (as they already have your phone number from your entry anyway). But if you want my advice I'd just enter online as it costs nothing!

hello i was wonderingif someone could help firstly sorry to post this here but i dontknow where else to post and i ue these forums most

i have been away for a few days came o today to post what comps i had won while away to get a message im not authorised to post or admin may have canclled my member ship

i hahve 500 post and im sure i havent done nothing wrong on here

could you help me a to find out why and how i get it back up an running please

i have started again with a new name etc just so i can get help

maybe best to contact the abuse/site admin team who should be able to shed more light on it

I like the sound of snaplink.

I installed roboform on to firefox, and when I later used internet explorer it had already been installed on there.....so you might not need to. If you do need to add it to firefox it is incredibly easy to install add ons anyway.
I think firefox is significantly better than internet explorer anyway.

It's amazing how the threat of contacting the ISP/ASA gets a response from PR companies! But why should you have to resort to that if you've won a prize fair and square?

I have been waiting for a prize (a DVD) from a pick me up magazine since 30th June. They said allow 28 days (it's been 57 so far). The only person that had communicated with me is the lady from pick me up, who notified me of the win (to be fair she's always replied promptly). The prize was actually being dealt with by a PR company. Today I had enough and gave them 7 days to send the prize, or I would contact the ISP/ASA. Within a few minutes of sending that email I have now had a response from the PR company (who amongst excuses of "having moved departments" and "being on holiday" :rolleyes:) have said they will send the prize. The lady from pick me up has also sent a response clearly passing the buck to the PR company! :rolleyes: Lets see if the prize turns up this week!
