Gadget To Make Fishcakes / Burgers Right Size

Hi folks

I've tried making HM burgers / fishcakes yet can never get them to come out the right size, mine are as flat as a pancake, is there a kitchen utensil I can purchase that makes them into the right size?

Lakeland sell a 'burger maker', don't know if this would be any use to you. I'd imagine you could use it without the wax discs (although they're easy enough to pick up in pound shops) but I bet they'd help if you were freezing the burgers after making.

I bought a burger maker gadget from Lakeland plastics in Glasgow several years ago. Here's the link...

I didn't bother buying extra waxed discs. I just use cake cases flattened out, they do the job ok.
