    Yep :)

As you can see I've found that earlier thread and merged the two together now, so since posts are listed in date order those of you who missed that one will need to read this thread from the beginning to catch up :)
Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. • i paid the extra and got the seed and nut dispenser. we don't use it at the mo but when (if?) the kids leave home i intend to have my bread with seeds etc in as its probably better for you

The dispenser is used for things which would get mangled in the kneading process, AFAIK, and you can add them 'manually' on the 252 if you can be bothered. I've got the 252 but then I didn't expect to be doing anything fancy in it.

That's what I wanted to know, but Panasonic are afraid to let you know.... Think I'll go for the 252 and trouser the £13 difference lol

  • Just bagged myself the SD253 for £35 + £5 p&p, so think that I have got a bargain. I really don't care if the box is a bit bashed. Got it from Amazon marketplace - anyway, they have a couple of other ones starting at £44.95, for new, the price is £76.97 with free delivery. Think Comet also sell at similar price, so maybe worth having a look there, if you have one nearby.
Amazon price for SD252 is £62.73 with free delivery (cheaper options for used).

I am going to get hung for buying this one, but really could not pass up on this absolute snip. My current breadmaker works just fine. However hearing all the raves about the Panasonic on this site, been wanting one for ages, and who can blame me?
Trying to salve my conscience, we are moving to Cyprus in about 18 months, and small electrical items are quite expensive over there compared to here, so buying new kitchen stuff whenever I see a bargain and storing in the attic. I might ask for help in this area later on - am terrified that I will forget something!
  • :j:jjust checked the delivery schedule and my Panasonic 253 should be here today. Can't wait! :j:j

Off to search for a nice nutty bread recipe to get me started :D

But a lot of our MSE'rs don't wander across the site and I knew they'd be interested in this one.

Robert Dyas have the Panasonic 3 size breadmaker on offer at £69.99 atm if anyone is still after one?
