Sunday 25/05/08. What small DFW things will you do today???

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Mornng everyone and hello to any new posters!
I have woken up with the hangover from hell, so will probably spend the next few hours feeling like crap until i can motivate myself to do something. Feeling a little demotivated today as things just aren't going my way at the moment and have now found out a two day course i needed to go on i order to get on my counselling course is full, so i will be unable to get on that course. There is another counselling diploma course i can apply for somewhere else, but just feel its limited my options.
Still never one to be beaten, i will get my behind into gear and start doing some dfw things.
-Will look for mystery shops
-Will sort out invoice i need to send back
-Will look at counselling books to buy - Done and used a cashback site and vouchers i had received from doing online surveys, so only had to pay £5 of my own money!
-Will work on filling in application form for counselling course
-Will work on brochures and leaflets for my business
-Will look on website for business advice
-Will sort out emails
-Will do some surveys
-Need to finish my big pile of ironing
-Will try and find more counselling courses, there must be more!
-Need to send email to someone regarding voluntary work
-Will check online banking and see if i can afford everything until the end of the month
-Will pay car tax online
-Received clubcard statement yesterday, so will put that with the others, then check how many i have and what i can do with them.
-Need to clean the bathrooms today
-Also check out the food in the fridge, use some up and then try and find space in the freezer for the rest of it, so it doesn't go off!
-I'll also look at the mystery shop jobs i have picked up and will pop them in my diary so that i don't forget when i have to do them, at the moment i have no idea!
-Ooh, i will also place a matched bet.
My list seems to be getting longer and longer!
The first thing i will probably do though is go and have a hot bath, a cup of tea and some paracetamol. Have a great day everyone and remember even if life is not going our way, we will get there in the endx

Not sure i know what taking a break is!! The bath and paracetamol were just the right concoction, thanks! Am having a busy day today as am going to London for the day, tomorrow and its my birthday tomorrow so thats one of the few days of the year where i may take a break, if the lure of doing things doesn't get too strong.

EO - you should swap your book for another on Read It Swap It. Have you heard of that site? I love it - I keep thinking I should start a post about it on here, if folks aren't aware of it already (are you guys?).
