Shame they didn't cancel your lobotomy.

The crash is in full swing and it's progressing a lot faster than the last one. Fact.

If its happening faster maybe it will end and pass faster too :)?

A quick punch in drops tailing off by the end of the year!!!

    ya never know..

all i know is that, in the area of West London I['m looking at, 12 months ago I'd have struggled to afford a one-bedder at 250K.

Now a heap of 2 bedders are falling into my price range.

If that's the sign of "no crash", suits me bruv.

Why do people bother replying to this poster? He is constantly posting threads just to create a reaction, it's almost like he feels more popular the more people post on his thread.

It's like going on to BMW forum and posting "Audi's Rule". He knows, I know prices are falling.

Seems the forecasted crash has not materialised to the disappointment of some bearish members...More chance of us getting a point in tonights eurovision

Oh dear what did you expect to see so far? Crashes are crashes in retropect. In reality a crash is a long sustained decline, just like the last one.

Is it not happening quick enough for you?

Joking aside, I think some people really EXPECT it to be a sudden event. That they'll come home one day and the news will announce "Today houses fell by 30%. Half the country has been repossessed.... we're passing live now to the Red Cross Tent where volunteers are giving first aid to the wounded and handing out emergency supply packs ... "

Hey its only been 1-2 months since the credit crisis started and borrowers are cutting back on their lending. I can see average house prices dropping by atleast 10% maybe 20% by the end of the year.

And to the OP he must be blind. I have only had property bee tracking house prices around my area for the last month or so. In that time around 20% of the houses on there have dropped 5-10% on their asking prices. In some cases upto 20%!

The number of FTB's is at its lowest since 1983

There are many many facts out there to justify a price correction (crash :)) in the future. Wether it will take 6 months - 1 year - 2 years - 5 years who knows.

    London - 230-237k (peak was 300k)
Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!
