I want to buy some digital kitchen scales

This is quite premature really, but I'll be moving into a house in September (possibly earlier) and love cooking! At home we have some digital kitchen scales but I doubt I'll be allowed to take them with me. So any cheap-but-good ones or some on offer would be good if you could help. Thanks.

how about Robert Dyas they have some digital scales for under a tenner, worth keeping your eyes open.

TKmax also have various ones in.I got some Brabantia scales last year from them and they are great.

It is good to get a set that you can "add " ingredients to.

Yes. At home we have some ones that just look like a block with no bowl...I quite like that as can put a saucepan etc on it. Again, no Robert Dyas/TK Maxx - any looking at online?

I bought these a couple of months ago, don't think there is much stock availability but might still have some in a few stores.

I bought 60 Nescafe beans from Ebay for £4 and have just sent of 15 of them plus £2 p&p for a set of digital scales:) So if you think 15 of the beans cost me £1 + £2 p&p so only £3 for digital scales bargain imho!! And i still have 45 beans to spend;) I'm not sure of there quality of these scales but on the Nescafe rewards site they have had some good reviews have a look yourself at www.nescafe-pickmeups.co.uk then there is tabs along the top i think it is under the home or household tab:o i'm sure you will find it;)
HTH and good luck finding what you want:D
