There was a children's field at the very first Glastonbury Festival in 1970. Nearly forty years later, for many families it's still one of the best things on the bill. This year, experience the Kidz Field for yourselves with an exclusive chance to win tickets for you and your parents.

It's called the Kidz Field at Glastonbury"because otherwise the parents would both be goats," explains Tony Cordy, area organiser of the largest free children's festival within Europe's biggest open air festival. "But being broadminded, I wouldn't personally raise any objection even if that were the case."

Tony Cordy has been the creative force behind Glastonbury's famous children's area since the early 1990s, heading up an extraordinary team of helpers and entertainers. "Come rain or shine, and believe me we've had plenty of both over the years, it's the greatest three acres that a child could ever wish for," says Cordy. "We're the secret heart of the Festival."
