hi can anyone help, i really want some slip on flip flop style shoes without a toe post as these seem to cut my toes to shreds, i did get some last year out of bon prix but they do not have them this year, i am going on holiday in 2 weeks and desperately need to find some, if anyone knows of any websites where i can purchase these, that would be great.

WEbsites, not sure, but lots of single strap (and other) birkenstocks in TK maxx if you want "up market" (£19.99), also a couple of pairs of rubber "non toe post" at £6. Otherwise what about crocs/fake croc clogs?
If you are off to the seaside though you can undoubtable pick up some cheapies as well there.0 -
I had the same problem every time I put on flipflops in the summer but I found if I just wear them around the house for a couple of hours at a time for a few days the skin hardens up and I don't get the problem..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Thank you, i have tried bedding flip flops in but the ones i have are 2yrs old and still give me really bad blood blisters to the point where it spoils my holiday.
i am off to greece and they dont tend to sell flip flops, just jewellery and tourist stuff really,.
i dont like crocs as they are plastic and not ideal for greece, but does anyone know what name these flip flops without toe posts are called as google brings up everything.
thanks

Slides I think are what they are called. I was going to suggest Scutes from Crocs, my DH wears his Crocs in West Africa with no problems.0

I used to then I realised you have to walk in a different way to stop the toepost from jabbing into your foot. Also helps if the sandals are made from a soft material instead of hard plastic like most cheapy ones. I'd prefer non toe-post sandals though, but they're surprisingly hard to find!D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0
