No but i have a voucher for a free entrance (If i can find it) needs using soon, my nana was ripped off by £5.00 in the shop there last year and they sent me a free entry voucher as supposed compensation, not much use when we live in the North East of England. The Voucher is worth about £7-8 ?, let me know if you want it as no good to me .

Ah monkey world is great!!! Go to the 'Old monkeys' bit, they are hilarious!

Last time i went there, one of the older monkeys was playing with his....erm...uh hum....! There were all these little girls gathered watching and giggling lol

  • If you have time before you go it might be worth phoning the local tourist information and see if they have any leaflets with vouchers inside them. They often have vouchers for one free child if accompanied by an adult etc in leaflets that cover a variety of attractions in one county.
Hope you have a wonderful time
  • Hi jumpingjackD, can you let me know how you get on at Monkey World, Ive never been but on a board I use someone posted that it was awfull....one posting on zoo's etc I never believe but when the complaints start building up then I "!!!! an ear".
  • We loved monkey world. It helps if the weather is good as there is not much inside, but loads of interesting animals esp. chimps and limas in my opinion. remember to leave loads of time at the end for the enormous childrens play area, which is worth a visit in itself if you have little ones.

    Monkey world is fab!
Its not that big, but you will probably appreciate it more for being able to stop and watch for a while instead of rushing on to see the next.
  • Thanks for all replies. Interesting thought NixNoo....where can I find a couple of monkey suits for kids. :):) I could probably make a fast getaway while they're giggling at the old monkeys. Thanks Bendybops that will probably make their day  (2 girls 11 and 12)

Really looking forward to going. Most of what I've heard is good. Will let you know.
