Natwest First Home Saver (RBS too)

Is this a good offer?

I have 50k, so I would qualify for the 5k cash back. Taking into account everything of competiveness of natwest mortgages, interest in the saver account for 6 months at 3.15 interest etc?
RBS does the same sort of deal. Is it worth signing up so when I do want a mortgage I will qualify for the 5k cashback?
