AA Loan Repayment Help

Hi all, I have a Loan with the AA which I have been paying off £122 every month until a couple of months ago. I have been self employed for some time until the beginning of this month the Doctor signed me off. The repayments for the loan has been a little unmanageable for some time and I have written to them once asking for a reduced payment due to my financial circumstances. Following a conversation with the AA they accepted a reduced repayment for three months of £41, though I found out after the second payment that this goes down as deferment even though I have paid some towards the loan. Following the three month period the AA said that if the repayment does not go to it's full amount then the debt will be passed on to a collection service. I am a little worried now that following the next payment I will still be unable to afford the repayment and want to now what is my best course of action.
Many Thanks

Best course of action is probably to have a chat with national debtline or CCCS. Without full knowledge of your situation it's impossible to advise.
If your account were defaulted and passed to a DCA, the likelihood is that your offer would be accepted but obviously credit reference agencies would be informed.
If you want to continue with exploring the situation on this site, you're going to need to post a full statement of affairs (SOA).0
