Well then, during the recent cold spell I wrapped up with fleeces and avoided putting the heater on as much as possible, but... one evening I just had to. Only to find out that the switch had gone and I had to keep it pressed in order for power to flow to the heating elements. Ok, I thought, will need to get a new one for next winter. I gave no more thought to the matter.
Today as walked along a nearby road I saw a man putting out lots of stuff such as furniture etc, out on the pavement. I looked on trying not to be too obvious but he saw me and said he was clearing his shed and if there was anything I wanted, would I just take it.
This nice 2Kw heater stood out like a sore thumb
He wanted nothing for it, and I reckon that type of heater would cost at least £30. Just now cleaned it and tested it. Perfect. :rotfl:

Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.
