Marks & Spencers have got their best Oakham chickens at half-price - equivilent to £1.54 per kg I think. They were workign out at aroudn £2 - £2.50 per chicken which is cheaper than all other supermarkets and they are superb chickens as well!

I've stocked up with another 5 for my freezer and would recommend them as they cook up really succulent.

    yeah, i love these chickens, like you've said, they cook up succulent, nice and juicy!!!!!!!!

    They're also doing some 2 for £5 deals on meat.

    I've got loads of stuff in the freezer - eg 1.55kg garlic & paprika chicken, spare ribs, mixed chicken any 2 for a fiver. I think it may be the end of bbq season bargains.

    Glad you posted this, I don't usually shop for food in Marks but I popped in today as a result of your post and I got half price chickens, half price stuffing, half price bacon and half price lemon sole goujons. Happy days! :)

    Anyone know where I can get a half price extra freezer? :)
