Hi. Just a quickie re deposits. As your tenancy agreement started after April 2007, the LA had to by law either pay deposit into a gov bonded scheme, or register it with same. http://www.mydeposits.co.uk/ If they dont, same applies to private LL, you can take them to court & they can be fined up to 3 months rent, thats just for not regestering deposit.0

Thanks for that. It was a holding deposit though, and paid prior to a tenancy being signed so I dont think they were liable to register it. Theyre totally ignoring all my communications so Im going to send it to the Small Claims court I guess.0
