Certainly is Numpty!
All his movies crashed it totally and I had to get IA to re-boot it for me...and sadly (NOT!) all his movies went with it, lol
Oh, and Sar...I um, read some of XOH text messages and I think he is seeing someone (ok, I know I am naughty) but tbh, I'm really ok about it. I asked him and he said no...but I would say the same thingEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

When I was with my ex and we got a PC wayyyyyyy back in 98/99 and there weren't as many ways of stopping problems with 'that' kind of site, I knew that he had been looking at stuff (I knew about checking history etc) but he didn't - he'd always been a lot more naive than me with computers and I just kept the bit of information in my head as a little nugget of information
Anyway, he stupidly used his Barclaycard to pay for some membership or other for looking at 'laydies' and couldn't work out how to cancel it  He sheepishly had to tell me (giggle). I acted all shocked but inside was giggling as I'd known for ages what he was doing.
It meant a phone call to the website administrators - in America - to cancel it, but when the CC came it was still on there. We - well, I - phoned Barclaycard and they said they'd put a stop on the merchant asking for money again.
However, what the cheeky blighters did was change the merchant name very slightly when asking for the money so when the CC bill came the next month - the subscription was still on there!! We got in touch with Barclaycard - I had to make up some lie about it being a magazine subscription or something  - and they said that they had stopped the original one but there was nothing they could do about a 'different' merchant asking for what was in effect a totally different payment for something completely different!!!!
I guess now, it would just be a case of shouting 'fraud' and it would be stopped but back then, the procedures weren't in place for internet transactions.
We refused to pay and the card eventually ran out and was never replaced. It never went on his credit record so they must have wiped it off eventually.
He never did it again.........:D
(well, not until just after we split and I found free photos of ladies of an Asian persusion on there...........at least he'd learnt not to pay, I guess :rotfl: )"Stay Wonky":D

I think you can check the server logs even if the history is wiped, although I wouldn't know how.
When I used to work in my bank's call centre, I used to frequently get calls from people asking how to stop the continuous authorities to dubious foreign subscription services that were set up on their credit cards! (If anyone needs to know, there will probably be a long number under the entry on your credit card - that will be their phone number, so you can ring them and ask them to cancel it)"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

That made me laugh Keren..
My DH is very savvy with the old computer...it is his job but yet he still leaves the history in...maybe its a hint!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Yes, you can track everything that has been looked at, accessed, deleted, posted and discussed on any PC.
Sometimes PC's can cause a whole lot of trouble. That and mobile phones. Technology makes it so easy for people to get up to stuff but there is always a trail left behind. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
He should have asked on here ,,,,,well in the Arms probably but i'm sure someone would have the name of a free site:oPROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBT NERD #869Numpty,Not sure why but I'm crying

Here's a quick tip - never EVER use the 'history' function on your parents pc, unless you want to be traumatised and disturbed for a VERY long time."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
