Think I might pull all my tax return stuff together and do it tomorrow.

It should be straight forward really, I've just got a question posed on the Tax board about how to declare my 'compensation' that I got on top of my redundancy as I've signed legal papers to say it isn't taxable. I'm guessing it goes in the 30,000 exception box alongside the redundancy. Totalled they come to just under 30k but I'm always a bit scared of doing it wrong and them chasing me !

Now I know that I can have the tax bill divvied up over 12 months starting next April, I'm a lot less concerned about the total as by then I'll have had 2 pay rises and who knows what I'll be doing next April!

A lovely new monitor/TV for my PC. Amazon were by far the cheapest and it's a pretty high spec one, HD ready and freeview. (I don't have a separate TV in my room, just the computer :))

Am I in some kind of weird twilight zone????? It hasn't rained all day in Poole!!! The car was wet when I got up at 8 but it wasn't raining, it's been dry since then and was warm and muggy when I was in the park at 11 - where are you in Dorset Sally??!!

Im Dorchester so only 40mins along the coast. It was raining quite hard when I got up at 7am then it was drizzling until lunchtime. About 1 ish the sun popped through and its been hot hot hot since. Think Poole has had its own microclimate today!

By law you should recieve it by the 31st of May or your employer is being very naughty!
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Do you get a P60 for every job you've had in a year?
