I would like to think I have a very good understanding of how children learn to read and what we as parents/educators can do to help. There are so many children who slip through the net and end up leaving primary school not really knowing how to read or understanding how to improve their reading.
I would like to address this with a booklet for parents giving advice on how they can help improve their child's reading. Or even a self help book for adults who struggle with reading.
How do I go about this? I have the idea but no idea of how I might go about it.
Any advice would be great - thanks
