Blackout blinds: Urgently needed

Hi all,
I really need two blackout blinds ASAP. My husband unfortunately isn't very helpful around the house so anything that needs drilling or screwing in won't work.
Does anyone know if you get blackout blinds that you can just stick to the window with a sucker sort of attanchemt?
My little baby boy is stuggeling to sleep and only once it's dark outside does he drift off. It's been a nightmare of an evening. Also, if you know of discount codes or first time customer offers that would be very helpful aswell.
Many thanks.

There are loads under £20 http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001001&langId=-1&searchTerms=black+out+blinds
If you want to do it really cheap buy some black card and stick it up with that coloured tacky stuff.0 -
just done a search as I'm looking for something similar i.e. no drilling involved.
Found this - hope it helps.

Something I found very very helpful (after much searching). Buy a pole (from B and Q or similar) that is designed to hold up lightweight voiles. They just slot in your window space and are held up by a spring mechanism.
You can buy really dark voiles from any cheap home-style shop (you know home bargains etc), they are like curtains, only much much thinner. If you buy dark brown they will block out all the light. I found them perfect for my bedroom (rented accomodation, crap blinds and a street light outside the window).
Hope that helps.0 -
Our house has blackout blinds in all the bedroom windows - I know I couldn't sleep without it. For a small window I bought some blackout material from John Lewis which I cut (doesn't fray as its plastic coated on the back) and sewed a hem at the top and slipped it onto one of those sprung rods - works brilliantly - bonus is I take it on holiday too! Worked out cheaper than a ready made thing.Heard the Shaggy Taxi Wind Up Phone Call?
