General form of judgment- bit of advice needed

Hi everyone.
I paid off a creditor in full over 6 weeks ago following court proceedings being issued. I got told by other sides solicitors that they would cancel any further court proceedings (i have never been to court, paid it off before it went that far) but have never heard from them since. I have today received a General form of Judgment or order. It says that the action be struck out and the interim clause vacated. What does this mean? Does this mean it has been cancelled. The other sides solicitors are so incompetent its a joke (Dickinson Dees LLP btw, cowboys!- can I say that on here?)
Thanks in advnace for any help! XXX

Was it a forthwith Judgment? If that's the case they may have applied to take enforcement action immediately, but then when they received your payment decided to cancel it?0

Hi thanks for replying so quick, it was a forthwith judgement, but I paid it off 9 days after recieving the forthwith order from the court, got told by the creditor and the other sides solicitors that it would be removed. I will keep have to keep trying to ring both the creditor and the solicitors again and again.

That's probably what happened then. When they get a forthwith Judgment they can apply to take further action (such as getting an interim Charging Order) straight away. Now it's been struck out. It's worth clarifying it with them, but be careful of them asking you to pay any of their costs for applying to take further action!0

It should mean that they haven't taken the case to the next stage so the time for it has lapsed and therefore it automatically gets struck out.
I would suggest emailing the court adn they will clarify this for you.0 -
I would also give the courts a ring, they are so polite and helpful. They can clear up all your questions.
