Asda stationery - further reductions

Asda have reduced their back-to-school stuff even more - some of it was around 75% off. Hard cover A4 books are around 50p (from £2), 12 inch rulers 11p, pencil cases down from over £3 to 78p, really nice calculators at 68p, school-year diaries, loads of different things. There was plenty of stock there at 12.30pm. It wasn't too school-ish, either, so there would be quite a few stocking fillers amongst them.

Was in my local store (Oadby, Leicester) but nothing left.

Make sure you have a good look around the store!!

I found the reduced stuff located where the gardening items used to be stacked, and next to a range of Hallow'een masks, etc.

Then there was another load near the clothes section.

In my local store, the normal aisle with the stationery has the regular (full priced) items.

So, Keep 'em peeled!!

Same here - definately in beside all the gardening stuff at the two asdas near me. Lots of bargains to be had - especially for girls - the range that they had for school showing group of girls on the front (can't remember what it was called) is all reduced. Managed to get organisers for my girls down from £1.99 to 27p, along with school pen sets down to 17p !!

I got a pack of 20 mixed stick pens (cheap ballpoint pens 8 black 8 blue and 4 red) for 13p.

As we go through more pens in a week that you would think humanly possible (I am sure someone is eating them) even if these only last a couple of weeks it is worth 13p.

OP, are you sure it's at Asda's ?

I went yesterday nothing - but when to Tesco and they hade these offers - weird !!

Yes, Mo786, definitely Adsa. They have moved the display at the Swansea Adsa to the aisle where the reduced barbecues and gardening stuff is (also duvet covers), but there's still masses of the back to school stationery there.

Thanks for your Tesco tip - I'll pop in on my way home to see what they have there.
