No, you cannot.
You could sell the tickets on ebay or scarletmist?Gone ... or have I?0 -

Not strictly true.
Under the DSR you have the right to cancel an order made at distance within seven days of ordering, but that is for non specific goods, and not personalised services. Within that right you have the right to return the goods within that period in they have already been delivered.
If you buy an item in a shop you have no statutory right to return the item unless it is faulty or does not comply with SOGA for some other reason.
It is pretty clear in their t&c's that tickets are non refundable? xGone ... or have I?0 -
yeh i think it probably is

I have managed to cancel a ticketmaster order in the past (2005 to be exact).
I bought 2 tickets for U2, then found better ones and bought those - phoned ticketmaster who were on that occasion really helpful and cancelled the two I didnt want.
Now, this means that they still had made a sale so maybe they were being nice, but I think the main point was that the physical tickets had not been received from the promoter yet and so they had a very good chance of reselling them.
Best to just phone them and ask really - in the circumstances you gave I should think they would allow it.0 -

I did this with Ticketline (I had also got better tickets). The key there was the timeframe - I cancelled within twelve hours.
You were very lucky with Ticketmaster, and it was a long time ago.
Tickets are selling on ebay (apart from those asking silly prices). I would be surprised if the OP has trouble getting rid of them.Gone ... or have I?0
