What kind of a sale is it meant to be? Like a % off of everything in store kind of promotion? or their slashing prices and everyone diving in like mad women whilst their menfolk wait outside?0

If you ever miss the sale, try & find out where your nearest clearance shop is, simply called "Next Clearance". EG in the Northwest there's one in Stockport town Centre & one at Cheshire Oaks Designer outlet, Ellesmere Port.
It's a complete mixture of stuff but you can get some really great bargains if you spend a bit if time rifling through.0 -

If last years october one is anything to go by it was mainly summer stock (poss sale leftovers) and only took up about half of the store. Still got a few good half price bargains though and men are allowed in they dont have to stay outside ;)lol0 -
A friend used to work there and said it's old stock from previous sales plus anything this season that's proved to be a poor seller. Also if there's anything on the shop floor that's going to be included it will be marked on the sales ticket ambiguously in pencil eg, if ticket price is £9.99 and it's going in sale it will have a pencilled code of something like 00004490000 so you know it will be in the sale and at what price (£4.49). Wait til friday to check this though as they do it last minute.0
