During the mid-1980s, Voltron became one of the most popular animated series of all time. Now, Voltron is back in the form of Voltron: Defenders of The Universe Collection 1 – Blue Lion, a three-disc DVD release packaged in a limited edition, embossed Steelbook - win DVD boxsets!
The three disc Voltron: Defenders of The Universe Collection 1 – Blue Lion (cert. U) will be released on DVD (£29.99) by Manga Entertainment on 2nd June 2008.
But that's not all! For this release, painstaking care has been taken to bring Voltron up to modern visual standards with a superb piece of restoration work involving new film transfers, brand new colour correction and a re-edit using the original series episodes as guides. The result is Voltron as you've never seen it before.
