New Dvd player Includes manual 4 Better player!

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else? Ive just bought a Panasonic portable DVD LS83 for £155 and it arrived this morning. I was dead pleased until I read the instruction manual and certain features were "LS86 only". I was just thinking how great these features were until I realised they weren't included in my LS83 player!
Im now disatissfied and wish Id bought the LS86 instead, but it is around £60 more and I felt guilty enough spending the original £155! I could return the player to Amazon and get a refund, although I would have to pay nearly £5 to post it, and then get the better player. Do you think I should?
The LS86 has a battery that lasts twice as long, plays Divx and also has an FM transmitter which means that when you are listening to your player in the car you can tune your radio in to it and listen to it via your car radio!
The thing is that Im in the process of selling some stuff on Ebay to pay off £60 that I owe to Next. I bought the player using my credit card which already had £220 owing on it. So, although, Im not greatly in debt, I should really pay these off and not spend the extra £60. I just love gadgets and any special features that come with them!
Also, Im in line to get some whiplash compensation at some time this year and will use some of this to pay off my credit card anyway.
What should I do? Accept that my player does everything that I wanted it to in the first place (although I must admit I bought it thinking it played Divx) or go for the better player?

If you go on amazon I think there is pre paid label you can use for returning or there used to be.0

I would send it back for a refund and then get the player you want with your compensation payout, but having said that I would make sure my debts were paid off with the compensation then use anything left over for the player.0

There is but they take the cost of the postage (£4.10) out of your refund unless you are returning faulty goods.
I keep telling myself:
1. We hardly use the dvd player in the car
2. I don't play much Divx and my daughter has a player that will play Divx anyway.0 -
My children get travel sick watching anything in the car they have to look at landscape (much cheaper- lol!)0

If you hadn't have got the manual for the better player would you have been happy with the one you ordered?
If yes, then I thinks you should stick with what you ordered and save yourself money and hassle.

I sort of would have been happy (I have asked myself the same question!) but I was under the false impression that it played Divx.0 -
I have realised that the player is listed as being a Dvd player with Divx on the Amazon site so I sent them an email saying that I bought it because of this function and yet it doesn't play Divx. They have said I can print out a postage label, send it back and get a full refund. I think I will do this and get the more expensive player as its likely to irritate me later on that I settled for the cheaper one.
I realise that there are a lot of people on DFW with far more serious debt problems than me but I hope no one minds that I asked for this advice.:o0
