I understand that you have suffered because of someone elses bankruptcy. But why did you put yourself in a position that one debt can get you into so much trouble.

I have not been paid by someone who went bankrupt, I had to write of the debt and move on. They have probably been through more heartache than me losing one invoice.

However I make a point of insuring my debts if they are large enough to cause me problems. The insurance company assesses the debt and if they won't risk it neither will I.
  • It does seem odd that many on here will lean to the side of the bankrupt .... i didnt say i was in trouble , far from it , only that my business suffered from the debt , it happened to be from what i considered to be a reliable scource .... the debt caused cash flow problems , these were temporary ....

next time i do not get paid for my hard work ill try and remember the heartache of that customer and ill write off the debt immedialty eurows ...

in fact as im owed money now and probably will be again in the future then maybe i should be more considerate and not invoice my customers at all because if i was to cause some "heartache" well then id be beside myself with self loathing .

it just goes to show you that even at this late hour of the day lessons can be learnt ... thankyou eurows
