Save £££ on AA renewal

When you receive your renewal notice from the AA, go online and get a quote (it will be far less than your renewal amount), then call the AA and they will match the online quote (they have a department dedicated to this!). Did this on Saturday and saved £36 on a £175 renewal.

    Hi all

I too am with the AA. I was paying £17.99 per month (which I bought online to get the discount) which included breakdown repair insurance. My renewal came in at £22.40 per month, but as I had started studying with the Open University I queried it and they reduced it to £19.12 per month, saving £3.28 per month/ £ 39.36 per year - not to be sniffed at! And they didn't need to see my NUS card so well worth challenging.

Autoaid is far cheaper than AA. I pay just £36 for the year.
I wonder why people still pay through the nose for AA? Ah well

We have the RAC family policy that covers 5 people for any car they are driving on solution 4 which is raodside / recovery / at home / onwards travel ect and that is £248 so just under £50 each (would have been less but I lost our no claims bonus with a flat battery at Manchester airport  )
