Free o2 treats for o2 CONTRACT customers

Options
The other thread about pay as you go treats reminded me to post this......

You may or may not have used o2 treats in the past, but predictibly, o2 don't usually remind you when that treat has run out......

Anyway, dial 2211 from your o2 and pick from one of 3 treats. It acts as a game and asks you to pick a number between 1 and 3. This game may float your boat, but if not,

1= Free off-peak minutes to any phone for three months
2= Half as many free anytime minutes to any phone for three months
3= Free texts to anyone for three months

Edit: The amount of the things you are offered depends on how much you use your phone (thanks harveybobbles)

Not loads of stuff, but worth doing as it's free to call. Enjoy!

Not just for contract - I'm PAYG and I got some too today - mine is the 15 free picture messages a month for the next 3 months. Very handy as although I'm on the 02 unlimited [Free texts and calls to all on 02] I still have to pay for the picture messages.

ETA: and there's more than three options I think.

I am on a PAYG, and if I top up £10 per month I get 50 free anytime minutes to all mobile networks and landlines in the UK. On top of that I get the treat of 15 free minutes to O2 mobiles and landlines per month (every 3 months I have to renew).

Between the free minutes and the treat ones, plus the £10 credit, I rarely spend more than £10 per month.

I looked into the Simple SIM card and applied online but for some reason they turned me down (not sure why as I have a good credit rating). Go figure... they get less money from me this way and I do not get locked into any contract!

Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

I have the same O2 PAYG sim - it is a good deal, which is why those sim cards ae no longer issued. The new sims offer off-peak minutes instead (although some of the call charges are slightly lower - but unlikely to offer a better deal).

If you don't top up for a couple of months the treats get quite miserly - free texts for an hour at 7pm, that kind of thing.
