Hi there
Everytime I get asked on a credit application about how long I have lived at my current address, I struggle on what to put.
I lived at home with my parents for 22 years, then moved out for all of 8 months but am now back with my parents and have been now for just over a year.
Obviously, living at the same address for a long period of time is beneficial but I can't really say that I have can I due to my short break?
Any advice on this from people in the know?

I think if you stayed on the electoral roll at your parents then it's fine to say that it was still your permanent address. Why did you move away? I was surprised to find from my bank (RBS) that even if students use their term-time address for bank statements, the banks still classes the family home as the permanent address.
I could be wrong about this though - maybe check with your bank?Debt at LBM (20th March 2008) £13,607
Debt currently [strike]£11,667[/strike] [strike]£11088[/strike] [strike]£10,681[/strike] [STRIKE]£10354 Hurrah 24% paid off[/STRIKE]
Oh dear ... back to £12944 9% paid off
Hurrah £10712 22% paid off0
