Breadmaker - replacement parts?

Hi, I threw away a loaf of bread that I made as it didn't turn out right. But the mixing blade was still embedded inside it! :o

Now I've got a shiny expensive breadmaker that is sitting useless, because I have no mixing blade.

Any idea if/where I could get a replacement blade? It's a Panasonic SD254.

I googled Panasonic SD254 spares and got a few hits, including this one, no idea how it compares price wise, maybe try Amazon and ebay.

Panasonic may have a spare parts section on their website, otherwise ebay have shops that sell breadmaker parts. One word of caution though- I ordered a replacement blade for my Kenwood 250 off ebay but then shop closed down and I still haven't got my money back, despite buying it with paypal:(.

Do you have the instructions handy? A few years ago I just phoned up the customer service dept number on the instruction booklet and ordered another (2 actually) mixing blade. I think they were a couple of quid each plus maybe £2 postage (I remember buying 2 in case I threw one out again and they were quite cheap, certainly not excessive anyway) and annoyingly I've never needed the second one... isn't that the way :)

espares is usually good, but I have always gone to the number in the instruction book for bread maker parts, they know which one you need. If you are lucky whatever it is won't have been discontinued! My Breville breadmaker had nothing wrong with it, but we had to part company as we couldn't get a new pan for it, when the old one collapsed!
