in England
Hello there
I am currently living in the Midlands, but soon to be moving to France.
I follow MSE all the time and will really miss it.
Anyone know of anything similar in France? Would love to get some local hints and tips for moneysaving over there.
Thanks

Have you tried FrenchEntree.com?
I am looking for the same thing and would appreciate any tips in case you've found out anything interesting since first posting?
Cheers,

Hi. I've lived in France for the last six years, and haven't come across a site like this. There are plenty of forums where (mis)information is exchanged, especially regarding the everyday problems of living somewhere new. But nothing like MSE, AFAIK.
If you'd like a short list of websites that I've found useful, then let me know and I'll post one.
You might also like to know that there is a thread here on MSE that discusses ex-pat ideas. It's in the Silver Savers section, but don't let that put you off if you don't qualify!!

Perhaps I should have added, that, of course, you don't have to miss any of MSE, but certainly large parts won't apply to you any more.
