Hi,
I am currently on the look out for a new digital camera after accidentily writing off my last camera and am looking for advice as to what would be a good purchase. I am looking to spend up to £100 (would be tempted to go a little over for a real good camera) and am looking for something reasonably compact as my main uses would be night outs/holiday snaps:
The camera's that I have seen so far looking at Argos are:
Casio EXZ18SR 8MP Camera £99
Hitachi DS-A651 10MP Digital Camera £99
Fujifilm FinePix F45fd Blue 8MP Digital Camera.£99
Samsung S1050 10MP Digital Camera. £89.99 Fujifilm Finepix A920 9MP Digital Camera. £89.99 Hitachi HDC-1061E 10MP Digital Camera £79.99
Samsung L735 7MP Digital Camera £69.99 Fujifilm FinePix A800 8MP Digital Camera £69.99 Hitachi HDC861E 8MP Digital Camera £64.99
Samsung S860 8MP Digital Camera £59.99
Hitachi HDC1251E 12MP £119
Kodak V1233 12MP Black Digital Camera £119
As you can tell I havent really made my mind up, would be grateful if anyone was able to recommend any of the above and if not any other suggestions that you have would be great!

spamming !!!!!!.
http://www.steves-digicams.com/ is a decent place for honest reviews of cameras, including photos taken with the cameras etc. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
This is what I would buy:
Sony W35 Argos Item 560/6258
£89.99 (reduced from £129.99)
7.2Mp, Zeiss lens, good shutter speed (many digicams suffer from shutter lag which can be a real pain)
No one else cheaper apart from:
Ebuyer £82.24 (free delivery if prepared to wait 5 working days)
Reviews:
http://www.cameras.co.uk/camera-reviews/sony-dsc-w35.cfm
£166 at Amazon (but read the reviews; often useful to check stuff out on Amazon anyway for the reviews)
