received oxo vegetable stock in a freebie bag. looking for cheap but healthy meals. i am a vegitarian and like most vegetables, rice and pasta.

Risotto? Rice, mushrooms, onions, peas, sweetcorn, anything else you've got. Fry it all off then add made-up stock and simmer until the rice has absorbed it.

If it's unsalted, you can cook pulses in to add flavour, but if it's got salt in, it will make them tough, or take twice as long to cook them.
If salted, I'd use it in soup. Or you could add it to a sausage/mince mix like sosmix for added flavour. (My friend gets these and they're quite nice.)May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
