Ahh good old MK! That is far from any beaches.
Have you tried the MK Gallery? I seem to remember thats free. There's also a museum in High Wycombe thats free. I'm sure more local peeps will pop in at some point with some more ideas!
But have a scout through mkweb.co.uk - it loads of ideas for stuff to do - I like the sound of the artwalks!
As already said there's loads of free stuff in London - The Science Museum always used to be my favourite as a child and the Natural History Museum is great - loads of button to press etc.0 -
Have you tried walkers brit trips yet? There are some good deals on there.
Camping trips are pretty good, and there are some good deals to be had on some of the sites.
I use the bogof trip vouchers, and last year we camped at Stratford upon Avon, £36, for the weekend. Used National trust tickets as well, went around Warwick castle on that deal, had a great time. Stratford is very nice and lots of free gardens as well as the shakespearean stuff ( a multiticket gets you into the venues) But is suspect children will really enjoy a day out at the castle.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
