Credit score chnages

I've been checking our credit reports and score so that I have a base to work with and see how much it changes.

I got hubbies score 2 days ago and was 588 which is in the poor section. Everything was satisfactory except for one card that was 1 payment late. The records have now been changed (they have received their payment), everything is satisfactory and its now jumped up to 786 and in the good section.

Its amazing how much late payment can affect your rating. It also hammers mine home which is very poor at 408 (but most bills are in my name!).

Has anyone else found the same?

Interesting topic. I signed up to checkmyfile.com a few weeks ago and have been checking my score and my details on there. On the last check, I made a note of my score, so that I could check it regularly. On Callcredit it is 459, Experian is 631 and Equifax is 473. It is surprising how different each score is on each file. Anyways, I am going to go and check now. Knowking my luck the scores have probably gone down

Hi have a monthly subscription with Experian and did a credit score at beginning of last month (usualll do every couple of months) after reading your post i thought lets do it early! nothing has changed since the last time but my score has gone from good to poor checked it and double checked it and no new searches ect so how can it go down!:mad:
