My clubcard is a Tescos credit card. Is it safe to enter this do you think? Sorry to sound silly but I have never done anything like this before.

I wouldn't give your credit card details if I were you.

The best thing to do if you want to collect these points is go to your nearest Tesco and pick up a leaflet for signing up to the Clubcard itself. You will find within it a temporary number which you can use in the meantime. Fill out the application form and send it off before using the temporary number.

The leaflet should have an explanation on how to apply for the card and how/when to use the temporary number.
