Again the OP will find new lenders will have various issues surrounding the fact he is abroad. Having 'ties' with the UK means.................... Are you on the voters roll? Do you have up to date utility bills from a UK address?
The rent is too tight for most lenders so I suspect Standard Life could be the option to remain with for now.
If you say are going to return to the property and for example try the suggested Halifax route then you will be expected to present a 'residential' insurance schedule. If the place then burns down whilst tenants were dwelling, the insurance wont pay out.0
