Nationwide Mortgage Statement

Hi
On review of my recent mortgage statement I notice that in the Product Summary the expiry date is 31 August 2008. On my statement of twelve months ago it is 30 September 2008 and also on my Mortgage offer.
Is there a preverbal rabbit away here or are Nationwide trying to pull a fast one?

Did you perhaps make an overpayment and decrease the term?
If it's an error, then I suppose it's an error in your favour if you're finishing your mortgage a month early. But probably best to be on the safe side and check with Nationwide.0 -

Thanks, it is the end of a 2 year fixed and no overpayments have been made.0 -
Oh, I see, it's the fixed rate period that's ending earlier than expected. That's not so good, but it sounds as though they've made a mistake. You need to call them and point out that the date seems to have slipped forward a month: if it is a mistake they should rectify it (but don't forget to check the direct debit amount in September even if they claim to have fixed it!).0
