    looked at this site and well all i can sy is if anyone buys bids on here they are proper stupid.
    50p to buy a bid and it only goes up 7p at a time, dont do it

    I haven't bothered to read it but it looks like you have an account and each bid you make costs you 50p to place. Each bid only puts the price up by 7p so each 7p of the price costs the bidders 50p to get it there.
    So something in the auction that has a price of £100 would actually bring the site an income of :
    £100 + £100 * (50/7) = £814

    Of course you could be the lucky one who places just a few bids and gets the item for £100 so the item would cost you:
    £100 + NumberOfYourBids*50p

    But there would also be other people who spent money bidding and got nothing.

    It is basically just a form of gambling. My advice would be don't bother with it unless you really know what you are doing with gambling.

    I also read something about there being a premium rate phone number involved!
