I would have thought the clothing could be upped a bit
I used this list to help me http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/manuals/dmbmanual/DMBM800120.htm
There is also lots of other useful information there~:staradmin~BR January 15th 2008 ~:staradmin~*~:staradmin~*~*~E.D. July 9th 2008~*~~:staradmin~~:staradmin~Time to start rebuilding a more simple life~:staradmin~0 -
What about dentist, optician, perscriptions, house ins,pet ins,dry cleaning. Although some OR will put allowances in, i would cut down house/keep and add others in to equal it all out.makingendsmeet wrote: »Ok so Thursday @ 11.30 is my BK date.. Yeah I think what I will do is.. If they question it in my interview I will say it includes dentist, opticians etc
I dont have house insurance or anything like that. I may say I have 2 dogs and there upkeep is includes in the housekeeping. After all the boxes to fill in on the BK form are minimal i.e there is one for travel, they don't list car insurance, road tax etc seperate do they??0 -

Thats sounds good as on there it says single parent housekeeping is £322.. So I maybe ok at £310.0 -
I listed all the other bits separately in the "other expenditure" box (think that's what it was called), just so the OR could get a clear picture .. I felt if I started bundling stuff together then he/she was more likely to query amounts:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0

Don't take that guide as gospel .. I did when I originally did mine and had it reduced .. when I queried it I was told HMRC use different guidlelines to the OR!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

remember though...dont try & pull the wool over the OR's eyes they can & will request receipts for everything if they think your hiding somethingWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

Yeah thats what I mean't I have bundled it all together so if they do say anything I will just act dumb and say I thought the figures were mean't to be bundled together. After all im sure some people fill the forms in off their own back without help0 -

Yeah not got anything to hide really. Even after bankruptcy I will struggle to live on my income.0 -
Do you have dogs?. If not then you are telling lies, better to put £20 house ins(with the intention of getting some)than to say you have 2 dogs if you don't also forgot you are allowed £10 per adult for hairdressing and i think it's £3 per child.Perscriptions, dentist, opt can be grouped together and put down as £30 health.DFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
