Hi Gemma,
I went bankrupt around the same time as you- I sent a copy of my bankruptcy order to all my creditors, my OR suggested this and I have had no further contact from any of them.Maybe Ive been lucky but they all seemed to accept the situation without any further question.
Only execption was Lloyds who kept ringing and saying they hadn't received anything (though I sent it twice by reg post), but even they got the message in the end.
From my own experience, its been worth spending a couple of pounds doing this, but then, maybe Ive just been lucky with my creditors.0 -
you could also set up a gmail/hotmail/yahoo mail account (i.e. disposable) in your name, ask for thier email address and send em a link, cos some of them deny being able to search the IS site
this will save your postage costs, and deny them your real email addy, ergo they cant hassle you.....0 -
