Folding Bikes

My bike got stolen last night (from inside my apartment block, right outside my front door! It was chained up and everything, they just walked out with it, locks and all).

I am thinking of getting a folding bike so I can bring it into my flat, where is the best place to get one from? Any particlar makes or models you would recommend?

I dont know about what you had in terms of the specs on the bike, but Ikea is doing a good folding bike for somewhere around £160, I m not sure of the exact price sorry, and if you have a ikea home card than you get a good discount, its got all lights, carrier, stand and was good, we were thinking of buying one ourselves.

Ikea gifted a similar bike on Christmas to all its employees and google would normally show those up if you try to find them but the one I saw on the shop is black and probably silver/black-blue.

If you look on YouTube you'll find lots of clips of different makes of folding bike, may be of help in choosing?

Cheers will do. I am thinking of either a Dahon or a Brompton, but I have also seen a company called Avelo. Anyone know of them?
