In a Financial Mess and need help plz!

Hi and welcome to the board. Glad your trying to sort out your debt problem, you'll get loads of advice from here. First of all, i agree regarding your high food bills, definitely meal plan to save yourself quite a bit of money.

Also your council tax looks a bit odd, it seems like you are paying the whole amount rather than half of it.

Is there any way you could get the travel expenses down, by buying a weekly or monthly ticket?

Also is there any opportunity for over time, so that if you can't change much of your spending habits, you may be able to make more money.

You haven't included in your soa, stuff like entertainment and clothing, only mention this as sometimes its the little things like the odd few pints here and there, that we forget to include and these all add up and may be where some income dissapears without you realising it.

Good advice, stuff i knew but to be honest getting it from someone else and seeing it in black and white should give me the kick up the !!! i need.

Now that my debt is with debt collection people can i still attempt to reclaim bank fines? I'd like to give it a go. Getting fined once by Barclaycard was the thing that tipped everything over the edge in the first place, and i would like to at least claim some charges - £70 for messing up one month is a bit over the top

And does anyone if i can get any working tax credits or anything like that (a mate said i might be entitled). I have no kids, wife etc btw.
