Using Clubcard vouchers to join Virgin Active

I have seen on the Tesco website that we can (for a limited time) now use clubcard deals to join Virgin Active (Gym).
This only applies though if the gym you are joining was an old Homes Place (now taken over by Virgin Active).
I dont have an old Homes Place gym near to me, BUT under the terms of the full membership of Virgin, you can join at any gym and then use any gym in the UK.
Has anybody tried this? I was thinking of joining a club in London (via post if possible) and then having a years membership and just using my local gyms. I am not sure if there is a stipulation though that you can't use the Virgin gyms if you join an old Holmes Place.
I hope all this makes sense and wonder if anybody has any experience of this? I have emailed Virgin and am just waiting for them to get back to me!

If you can and are near enough, try to join the Canary Riverside, it is fabulous and the spa is to die for!
Good luck
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
