Who can I sell my camera too?

Posts: 3 Newbie
Hi Folks,
Long time lurker but first post on here! I hope someone can give me advice.
I am looking to sell my Canon digital SLR camera. It is about 5 years old and was mucho expensive at the time. It has been very well taken care of and although I have all the guides etc I don't have the box. I am looking to flog it but would prefer to sell it to a shop like Jessops etc but not sure who/how.
I also have an all in one lense (reconditioned) and a great bag etc that I woudl like to sell altogether. I am not totally averse to ebay etc but, to be honest, I am too lazy to take photos, write the description etc....:o
Any advice?
Cheers, A

I've always sold my old cameras on Ebay and managed to get a good price for them. Failing that you could also try Amazon although I think they tend to charge a bit too much.
I say go for Ebay. It's a place where buyers for such things tend to look first for bargains anyway.
Good luck0 -
I'd second the recommendation for Ebay. I've sold a couple of cameras there, and managed to get a good price both times.

Hi AFR and welcome to Up Your Income on MSE.
I too would go with Ebay. I would also say that it's probably going to be quicker to take photo's and write a description than to trawl round photography shops being offered a pittance for your goods.
What ever you do good luck.

Thanks for all your replies! I have been convinced to keep my digital SLR and just buy a cheaper point and click too! The money I am likely to get for it is nowhere near enough to buy something similar so will just hold on to it (maybe if I do that long enough I will be able to sell it as an antique... now that is long term planning!!)0

My advice would be to look at other people's listings and see what's going. I have sold items in split lots mainly, but some items could go better as a package.Blagged: free samples of handwash from Molton Brown; booklet of walks from Brecon Carreg;
