I need a new hands free phone system cheap as poss

Having gone through two lots now I'd like one that lasts the distance really - never liked my old handsfree phone really - it was constantly losing charge and was only two yrs old! and now that the two handsets have given up the ghost I was hoping for some guidance to stop me making another big mistake - any suggestions anyone.

Not bothered about frills just want good phone line and maybe a largish distance so I can talk while in the garden etc.

ps this is the first thread started by me !!!

Do you mean hands free or cordless as I think using a phone hands free from the garden might be pushing it a bit
