Impact DMP has upon addresses credit rating?

I am on a DMP with the CCCS and have been now for just over 6 months. It has all been going fairly smoothly (with the exception of HSBC!!!) I did however have a rather big panic the other day about the impact that my DMP would have upon my Dad's credit rating.

Because of my current living arrangements my mail, bank statements etc get sent to my Dad's address. I am really worried now that my poor credit rating (as a result of a couple of default notice's) will have an impact on his credit rating too!!! Is this the case?

If I am damaging his credit rating by getting mail sent to his address then would me changing the address on my mail solve the problem? (He is unaware that I am on a DMP!!!)

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated guys.
Thanks in advance.

Credit rating affects the person, not the address. I would change to your own address though, just in case someone turns up on your dads doorstep.

Thanks very much, appreciate it. I had a problem with my mail going missing as live in flat with a 'communal' mail box. As soon as its sorted I'll change address anyway.

    Thanks again.
