Hi, well basically i do work for Avon and also selling bags for another company (not sure if im aloud to say what its called)
Anywayyy they both involve the same thing of trying to get customers through homes etc...
Ive tried really hard selling Avon products but i really dont get that many orders, selling the bags is better and i do get more money from it..but i want to earn a bit more.
Ive covered my area for both companies and dont think i can get any more, ive tried to leave some books in shops etc, but thats always a hasstle finding the address, collecting the money etc as i dont drive...
Does anyone have any tips for earning a bit more with these two companies?
Thanks

Do you have time to try doing pampering parties?
Could you combine the 2 maybe, with ladies being able to look at your bags while you do a very basic beauty treatment?
Even just a hand massage,or nail polish is a nice treat.
When I did Avon,I sold a ton more products this way-I also did Partylite candles, and had some of the candles burning while I did the parties.
Hope this helpsWell I know you want to love her,but let me tell you brother, she's been sleeping in the devils bed...:A0 -
It does sound like a good idea, im just not really one to host parties. It would be hard getting the free space aswell, did the candles sell well?0

I never hosted the parties in my own home,I always went to theirs, and normally not far away, just on my Avon route.
If you can get one of your existing customers to host, you also then have the chance of gaining new,and possibly repeat customers through the party.
I always had several sample products in little goodie bags along with my contact details to give away-this then means they can always contact you in the future.
As for the candles,I didn't do it very long-the products are lovely, but expensive.
If I wasn't so busy doing what I did now,I would definitly have taken the whole Avon/pampering thing further.I think it's something that has the potential to sell way more products.Well I know you want to love her,but let me tell you brother, she's been sleeping in the devils bed...:A0 -
I am a Partylite consultant and find they sell really well. Customers come back for more as they know that no other candle burns as well as ours. If you want to know any more just pm me.Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680
